Skywatch: Salina Astronomy Club “Star Party” at the Land Institute

The Salina Astronomy Club is hosting a “Star Party” at the Land Institute on April 1.  This event is free and open to the public. Observers can come and go as they please throughout the evening. Come at 6 pm for a solar observing and to learn more about the August solar eclipse. Night sky observing begins at sunset, 8 pm, and continues to 10 pm.  Objects visible will include the waxing crescent Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Orion Nebula, and other deep sky objects.
