Skywatch: Salina Astronomy Club “Star Party” at the Land Institute

RESCEDULED: Due to a forecast of rain on April 1, the Skywatch event at the Land Institute has been rescheduled for April 29.  This event is free and open to the public. Observers can come and go as they please throughout the evening. Come at 6 pm for a solar observing and to learn more about the August solar eclipse. Night sky observing begins at sunset, 8 pm, and continues to 10 pm. 10% illuminated waxing crescent moon will set at 12:10 a.m. on 30-Apr. See moon, Mars, Jupiter, Orion Nebula and other deep sky objects.
