Angel Almaraz
Farm Research Assistant
Angel resides in Las Vegas, Nevada and made her way to Salina, KS as a student majoring in Agribusiness at the Salina-based Kansas Wesleyan University. Angel graduated from Green Valley High School and also studied Agribusiness at Midland University prior to working as the Farm Research Assistant. Her experiences working at a family-owned farm in Nebraska managing plants and working as a lifeguard in Vegas have prepared her to manage heat, which will be helpful when working during Kansas summers.

What’s most inspiring about your specific position at The Land Institute?
The most inspiring part for me is being able to contribute to something larger than just serving customers.
What drew you to work at The Land Institute?
I enjoy doing hard labor and working with others! So I was drawn toward The Land Institute when I heard about the tasks they were assigned.
