Ben Kraft

Ben is from Salina, KS, and recently finished his freshman year at Kansas University, where he is majoring in microbiology on the pre-med track. Ben is returning to The Land Institute for the second time as a Research Assistant. While working this summer at The Land Institute, he will also be job shadowing at the local hospital from time to time to explore different medical professions. Ben was drawn to working at The Land Institute for the summer so that he could continue to see and participate in the practical side of research. He also enjoys the community aspect of working with like-minded scientists.
