Claire came to The Land Institute’s Soil Ecology Program from Minneapolis, Kansas. She received her BA from Hampshire College and her MFA from Brown University. In addition to her educational background, Claire worked as a research assistant at 47 Sheep and Cattle Ranch in McNeal, Arizona, before joining The Land Institute. She is interested in the long-term work of perennial agriculture and its possibilities for the future.
