Hannah Schafer

Hannah Shafer joined The Land Institute after finishing her senior year at Oberlin College, where she studied biology and philosophy. A year ago, she fell in love with farming but was dismayed when she realized many of its practices were destructive to the land. This brought her to The Land Institute, where she could combine her inclination toward biology research and her desire to help steward in a new age of truly regenerative farming.
