Krista Robinson, SHRM-CP, was raised in Salina, Kansas, USA, pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management from Kansas State University. She later discovered her human resources calling while living in Colorado, then grew passionate about non-profits after returning to Kansas. A farmer’s granddaughter who spent countless childhood hours in a combine, wheat truck, and tractor, Krista feels deeply connected to The Land Institute’s mission and incredible humans, finding immense value in supporting those who advance agriculture in restorative and visionary ways. At The Land Institute, Krista leads efforts to cultivate a thriving, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture, driven by a deep passion for caring for the people behind the mission. She ensures that those advancing perennial agriculture feel valued, empowered, and sustained.
My most perennial trait: Zeal—I’m always ready to bring enthusiasm, energy, hype, positivity, and laughter.
