Raised in Brookville, Kansas, USA, Ron Kinkelaar now resides in rural Saline County. From farming and ranching expertise to maintaining and operating heavy equipment, he also loves working with horses and mules in his free time. At The Land Institute, Ron is passionate about helping people learn how to operate machinery safely and effectively to grow a variety of perennial grain crops on the research farm and in field trials.
