The Culinary Breeding Network, Artisan Grain Collaborative, and Seed to Kitchen Collaborative are hosting the Farm to Flavor gathering at the Garver Feed Mill in Madison, Wisconsin, to put a spotlight on the collaboration between breeders, farmers, chefs, bakers, and beverage makers to show the pathway between plant breeding and culinary innovation. This year’s event will host select culinary partners, authors, and featured farms, including Wisconsin’s Kernza® perennial grain supply chain hub. Guests can taste various food and beverage products, browse pop-up shops, and learn from experts in the food system about the connection between crop research and delicious food and drinks. Tickets range from $35-$50 and can be purchased in advance or at the event for different costs.
