The Land Institute’s research collaborators at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) are hosting a Kernza field day and seminar on June 17, 2023 in Alnarp, Sweden. Titled “What Do We Know About the Perennial Cereal Kernza?,” this activity begins with a field walk at SITES Lönnstorp’s research station where participants will attend a presentation of the experimental station and its infrastructure, see what Kernza looks like in cultivation, and receive information about ongoing projects at the station that are connected to Kernza. Attendees will then move to the Crafoord Hall on Campus Alnarp, where researchers from the US and Sweden will talk about finished, ongoing, and future Kernza projects.
Attendance is free, but registration is required by June 15th. Learn more and register here.
