Bold Fork Books is hosting a book discussion between Nancy Matsumoto, author of the new book Reaping What She Sows: How Women Are Rebuilding Our Broken Food System, and Dani Nierenberg, Co-Founder of the sustainable food systems organization Food Tank.

Matsumoto’s book highlights women changemakers across different professional affiliations and personal backgrounds who are leading critical work to address issues of climate change, health, and global supply chains linked to current food production. Additionally, this book contains a full chapter discussing the innovative work of women leading the perennial grain movement, including The Land Institute’s President Rachel Stroer, brewer Sandy Boss Febbo of Bang Brewing, cookbook author Beth Dooley, and others.
The discussion takes place in Washington, DC, on December 15th. Interested attendees can purchase tickets in advance to attend this in-person event.
