The Land Institute’s 41st Prairie Festival 2019 is going on now: September 27-29. This year’s theme is “Carbon, Culture and Change: From the Ground Up.”
If you cannot make it to Prairie Festival in person or want to share the experience with friends and family at home, this year’s presentations will be available each day of the event via livestream:
· Saturday: https://youtu.be/NdHW1JFd37c
· Sunday: https://youtu.be/lNuzTccdEAA
We are thrilled to announce this year’s keynote speaker, Bill McKibben, environmental author and co-founder of 350.org. Also included in our speaker line up are: Francesca Cortufo, Carolyn Finney, Amory Lovins, and Ana L. Porzecanski. Prairie Festival features live music, art, and food in a celebration of The Land Institute’s perennial and diverse landscape.
