Early-adopter farmers are now beginning to experiment with planting Kernza® as a perennial grain crop, as well as a dual-purpose grain/forage crop.

The Kernza® Management Guide includes suggestions for how to grow Kernza intermediate wheatgrass for dual-use forage and grain production* in the U.S. Upper Midwest, and is meant to be a resource created for, and in partnership with, those farmer innovators.
