You might turn to Patagonia if you were in the market for a rugged duffel or a breathable, waterproof jacket. But did you know you can also turn to Patagonia if you’re in the mood for an ice-cold beer?

You most definitely can. Like many of Patagonia’s other products, the beer that bears their name was crafted with sustainability in mind.

If an eco-friendly beer is your goal, traditional annual grains aren’t a great choice. That’s why Patagonia turned to the Land Institute in Salina, Kansas. They’ve developed a perennial grain called Kernza.
