Kansas City PBS is hosting a screening of Flatland in Focus: Harvesting Change, featuring a live conversation with sustainability experts.
This episode of Flatland in Focus is inspired by Flatland’s digital series Harvesting Change, which contains an episode featuring The Land Institute’s work on perennial grains titled “A Perennial Future.” The event will include a panel discussion about regional food systems and regenerative agriculture. It will begin with a farmers market featuring sustainable, local vendors where attendees can shop and try fresh samples. Shortly after, the screening will begin, followed by a panel discussion.
Doors open at 6 p.m., the program begins at 7 p.m. and the farmer’s market will remain open until 8:30 p.m. Free parking is available on-site in the Kansas City PBS station’s front and back parking lots. Overflow parking is available in the lots adjacent to Grand Ave. and E. 31st St.
This event is free and open to the public. Click here to get tickets for the screening. To learn more about Harvesting Change, visit flatlandkc.org/harvesting-change.
