Kansas-born and raised, Amanda Wagner earned a Bachelor of Arts from Kansas Wesleyan University. She worked in library services, agritourism, and with cooperative and farmers’ markets, and remains active in local food and sustainability efforts in her hometown of Salina, Kansas. At The Land Institute, Amanda cultivates new and long-lasting connections with donors, supporters, and visitors alike, engaging with people on campus tours and at regional events, such as Prairie Festival and community workshops.
My most perennial trait: Groundedness. Ask me about natural burial and plant-based pigments.
