After living in several Midwestern states during her education and early career, Sheri Walz settled in South Central Wisconsin. As an undergraduate student, she saw a flier for internships at The Land Institute and applied. As an intern, Sheri worked on the longhorn rotational grazing project and data analysis from prior years’ research. Lessons learned during the internship experience remain woven into Sheri’s personal and professional interests. Today, she serves as Deputy General Counsel for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection.
