Intermediate wheatgrass as a dual use crop for grain and grazing

Fletcher Kent grew up in the Colorado Rockies, but his passion for more sustainable approaches to agriculture began when he engaged with farmers and community organizations as a resident of Rhode Island. His first exposure to The Land Institute was nearly 15 years ago, when he saw Wes Jackson present on the promise of perennial agriculture that worked like the diverse natural ecosystem of the prairie. At The Land Institute, Fletcher develops and manages relationships with donors and investors to support progress on our path to realize a future where agriculture can feed people and heal the planet.
My most perennial trait: Persistence – I enjoy building deep roots for the long term.
