Jackson Bowman
General Research Assistant
Jackson Bowman is The Land Institute’s 2023 Austin College summer intern. He is from Plano, Texas, and will be joining the Crop Protection Genetics (CPG) lab this summer. He just completed the first year of his undergraduate program and is majoring in Environmental Studies and Biology. Jackson has always had a passion for the environment and is enthusiastic about The Land Institute’s goals in perennial agriculture. He is interested in gaining day-to-day experience this summer working in the field and with plant breeding.
