James Le

Born and raised in Vietnam, James Le first became interested in environmentalism through friends in high school in the United Kingdom. He then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. Olaf College in Minnesota, USA. Learned the most about The Land Institute through the book New Roots for Agriculture by Wes Jackson and through a teacher’s introduction. At The Land Institute, James is excited to contribute to research in soil ecology and the community as a whole.

My most perennial trait is Grounded – I think I can sleep and grow in almost any environment.
