Jefferson Brown

Jefferson Brown appeared on the planet in Yokohama, Japan, and left after three months. Since then, he has lived all over the US in TX, OK, NJ, CA, OH, AK, and VA, but mostly in KS, WY, and ID. In Jeff’s last semester at K-State, he took a tour of The Land, as it was called in the 70s. In January of 1978, Wes Jackson called him to recruit him as a student, based on conversations during his tour. Jeff benefitted from a positive reference from The Land Institute, acquiring jobs with the USNPS and Kansas Historical Society.
