Lauren first visited The Land Institute as an Antioch College student with a group of classmates and a professor after attending the Seed Savers Exchange conference in Iowa. Since working at The Land Institute, Lauren’s work has continued to center on land, health, conservation, and food. Antioch College’s cooperative education program involved alternating quarters between classroom study with full-time work co-ops.
