After growing up on the Kansas side of the Kansas City metro area, Matt Dunn headed to the University of Kansas in Lawrence. During his seven years there, he earned undergraduate degrees in History and European Studies, as well as a Master of Arts degree in French Language and Literature. Matt’s involvement in the local chapter of the Sunrise Movement strengthened his dedication to helping Kansas embrace its potential to lead a justice-oriented transition to renewable energy and regenerative agriculture. At The Land Institute, Matt protects people, assets, and places, both physical and digital, as the IT and Safety Specialist.
My most perennial trait: Avid Reader – Much like perennial wheat, I have a flurry of seasonal activity for 4-6 weeks each fall and another 8-10 weeks between April and June in the spring.
