
Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, Teagan Levar began studying plants as an undergraduate and eventually earned a Master’s Degree in Plant Biology and Conservation from Northwestern University. She is passionate about working with plants to create a more sustainable future. At The Land Institute, Teagan focuses on perennial oilseeds, exploring the use of phenomic selection to advance crop breeding goals.
