Dr. Omar Tesdell, Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at Birzeit University in Palestine and research partner of The Land Institute, will be speaking at a lecture series hosted by Northwest Missouri State University. Dr. Tesdell’s talk titled “Agricultural Innovation in Moments of Crisis: Notes from the Fertile Crescent” will discuss his research on working to establish more climate-adapted, resilient, and proper agricultural landscapes.
