Press Release – “Living Roots: The Power of Perennial Foods” – New book available NOW.



The Pratt Institute is hosting an event for the launch of the new book Living Roots: The Promise of Perennial Foods. This book, co-edited by author Liz Carlisle and Aubrey Streit Krug, Director of The Land Institute’s Perennial Cultures Lab, incorporates perspectives from experts across numerous backgrounds and lived experiences to examine the promise of perennial foods such as perennial grains, indigenous food forests, fruit trees, nuts, berries, and more for sustaining communities and protecting the health of our shared planet.
The event will take place at the Pratt Institute’s Higgins Hall North Room 304, and interested attendees must register in advance to join.
