Join Living Roots co-editors Aubrey Streit Krug, Liz Carlisle, and contributors Elsie DuBray, Tim Crews, and Jesse Nathan for a book launch event at the O’Donohue Family Stanford Educational Farm. This event will celebrate perennial foods and offer attendees the opportunity to engage with the book’s themes and contributors firsthand. Following this conversation, guests will be able to taste perennial treats, purchase copies of the book, and have them signed by the authors.
Living Roots: The Promise of Perennial Foods incorporates perspectives from experts across numerous backgrounds and lived experiences to examine the promise of perennial foods such as perennial grains, indigenous food forests, fruit trees, nuts, berries, and more for sustaining communities and protecting the health of our shared planet.
This event is free to attend and open to the public. The event venue is 555 Fremont Road, Stanford, CA 94305.
