


Living Roots co-editors Liz Carlisle and Aubrey Streit Krug, along with book contributor Gary Nabhan, are hosting a book launch event at Mission Garden in Tucson, Arizona. Join them on October 22 for a night of book signings, perennial treats, and in-depth conversations around the new book and the benefits of perennial foods for people and communities.
Living Roots: The Promise of Perennial Foods incorporates perspectives from experts across numerous backgrounds and lived experiences to examine the promise of perennial foods such as perennial grains, indigenous food forests, fruit trees, nuts, berries, and more for sustaining communities and protecting the health of our shared planet.
This event is free to attend and open to the public. It takes place at Mission Garden, 946 W Mission Ln, Tucson, AZ 85745, from 6-8 pm Mountain Time. Attendees do not need to RSVP in advance.
