Join a local screening of the new film Granite Rapids Moon on June 23rd at the Salina Art Center Cinema to help raise funds for The Land Institute’s research!
For every guest who attends on behalf of The Land Institute, the filmmakers will donate a portion of the box office proceeds toward our efforts to cultivate the future of farming. One of our staff members will be at the event to help take a tally of those who heard about the screening from The Land Institute.

Shot with only the equipment that a cast and crew of eight could carry on two 41-mile hikes, Granite Rapids Moon is the first narrative feature to shoot the majority of its footage inside the Grand Canyon. The family-friendly romantic drama is writtena nd directed by Kenneth Cran, and the film stars Brit Morgan (True Blood, Riverdale, Supergirl), John Charles Meyer (Mom, Vampire Diaries), Susan Papa, Etienne Eckert, Micah Cohen, Kylie Rae Condon, and Missi Pyle (Gone Girl, Galaxy Quest, Captain Fantastic).
