The annual Millfest event will be held again this year on Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3, in Lindsborg, Kansas, to celebrate the only historic flour mill in the Midwest that can still operate. The Land Institute will participate in this event on both days, with Educational Design Technician Lydia Nicholson running a Kernza tasting activity on Friday and a grain bin activity on Saturday.

The event is open to the public, and tours run from 9 am to 4:45 pm. During Millfest, the cost for tours is $10 per person, but other museum attractions will be available by donation. Click here to learn more about the event’s offerings, including live music and other museum activities.
