In celebration of 50 years of artist participation at The Land Institute’s Prairie Festival, the Salina Art Center hosts a presentation by Cori Sherman North, Curator for the Birger Sandzén Museum, in Lindsborg, KS, with comments by Terry Evans, Former Visual Arts Coordinator for Prairie Festival. Terry Evans discusses the first Festival in 1979 and reprises her opening remarks for that event, and Cori Sherman North recalls the artists who have participated over the years and highlights the art and artists represented by the current “50 Years of Perennial Possibilities” show, which features work by 20 artists whose engagement with The Land Institute spans five decades.
