Kernza® perennial grain research by Dr. Amy Teller at the University of Minnesota draws on stakeholder interviews across the Kernza value chain to help institutions understand how best to support early adopters of the crop. These findings highlight existing, successful support mechanisms that stakeholders benefit from and identify future needs across breeding, cross-sector uptake, and market support. Findings from this study inform future actions to enhance social sustainability, economic feasibility, and collaborative relationships between members of the Kernza supply chain.
