Marty Bender Nature Area Bio Blitz

Come and participate in a socially-distanced event with The Land Institute at the Marty Bender Nature Area! Participants will be collecting plant species data for plant inventory during the week of October 18-24 during our Bio Blitz event with iNaturalist. We are excited to start cataloging biodiversity in the nature area and will share results with participants.
To participate, all you have to do is download the iNaturalist app on your phone. Then, during your walk on the nature area trail, take pictures of plants that look familiar to you. Make sure to record your observations under the project name “Marty Bender Nature Area Bio Blitz” during daylight hours.
