Developed by Friends of the Mississippi River, Ecotone Analytics, and the Forever Green Partnership, the newly released Putting Down Roots report examines the potential environmental and economic effects of the increased adoption of “Continuous Living Cover” (CLC) cropping systems, which include perennial crops like Kernza perennial grain, on Minnesota farmland between 2023 and 2050 under low, medium and high adoption scenarios.
