Pheonah Nabukalu, a post-doctoral fellow at The Land Institute, will share her story of overcoming socioeconomic barriers growing up in Uganda to achieve higher education and success in a field dominated by males as the Women in History Month speaker at 7 p.m. March 14 at Kansas Wesleyan University’s Sams Chapel.
