The Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission and Ecosphere Studies at the Land Institute will host Art in the Ecosphere, a symposium to connect Kansas practitioners with selected organizations from around the country working to center and support art and artists as part of an ecological worldview. As part of the symposium to highlight the growing field of art and ecology in order to contemplate the role of art in changing how we relate to the ecosphere and our place in it and to imagine new models and possibilities for ecospheric arts programming in our region, a public art exhibit and forum will be held at the end of the symposium.
