Living Roots co-editors Aubrey Streit Krug and Liz Carlisle appeared on the Food with Mark Bittman podcast alongside farmer, activist, and author Leah Penniman, who contributed to the book with the chapter “Throw it Upwards.” This group spoke about how perennial foods can serve as a response to the climate crisis, as well as the support needed to bring perennial agriculture solutions to fruition on the farm and in communities.
