Our partners at Sustain-A-Grain, champions of Kernza perennial grain and Kernza farmers, are hosting the Kernza in Kansas Field Experience in Salina, Kansas, from July 18-19.
In collaboration with Merge Impact, a marketplace for regeneratively produced goods, this event will highlight Kernza foodways, provide field tours, discuss the environmental and nutritional benefits of the perennial grain, and give attendees the opportunity to taste the perennial future firsthand through a farm dinner and brewery tour.

8:00 PM: Kernza Field Tour at Sunset at Coronado Heights, Kansas
Friday, July 19
8:30 AM: Traceability & Transparency Session with Merge Impact, Red Fern Booksellers, Salina, Kansas
10:30 AM: Research Tour with Crop Stewardship, The Land Institute, Salina, Kansas
12:00 PM: Lunch
1:30 PM: Milling Tour, Farmer Direct, New Cambria, Kansas
4:00 PM: Brewery Tour & Kernza Beer Happy Hour, The FARM & Odd Fellows, Minneapolis, Kansas
The registration cost for the two-day event is $499, which includes programming, transportation throughout the event, and food and drink.
