Fred Iutzi will speak about the work of The Land Institute at the 2019 Symphony in the Flint Hills, a celebration of art, music, and the ecology of the Flint Hills.
This year’s theme is Ad Astra: On the open prairie, it is only the vast sky that grounds us – and the North Star that guides us.
The site opens at noon and partner presentations will be from 2:00-4:20 pm, in addition to prairie walks, an art exhibit, a silent auction and more. At 4:30 pm, the Osage Ballet will perform Wahzhazhe, and the Symphony will play at 6:45 pm.
